Siesta Motel

Stayed here for 2 nights on my cheap getaway. Staff was very friendly, showers are great with multiple settings. The location is very quiet. Only issue with my stay was baby birds chirping at all hours by the A/C unit

Service was exceptional! My car broke down and after waiting for a tow truck for over 5 hours I was informed that the tow truck company could no longer take me home. It was 3:30am and John at Siesta graciously offered me a room and accommodated my two dogs. He was so kind and understanding and the room rate was outstanding at less than $100 including taxes and pet fees. The room was quiet, the air conditioning was almost silent and effective, the bed was comfortable, and the rooms were so clean. He provided all emergency amenities that I needed. He was extremely kind and even good to my two dogs. I loved that there was a ton of easily accessible parking and many green spaces for the dogs. Definitely a pet friendly hotel. I would highly recommend supporting this small family owned business. I took pictures but I don't seem to be able to post them.

The rooms are standard bed and shower. Very old but it’s a motel. The bed is super comfortable. The lady at the front desk was so lovely to help me come to my room to do up my dress in the back because I couldn’t do it myself. She didn’t have to do that and she was so sweet!!! I’d gladly stay here again. Thanks so much!

The Siesta was very pleasant and the owner, John, a delight. He ensured that I was happy with my stay! The room was basic and clean; there was the standard fridge and microwave, but also a stovetop and some utensils. It was very affordable and I would definitely stay again if I were in the area.

I had a great stay here! The motel is very clean and well-kept. The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly, which made the whole experience even better. The beds are in great condition and very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep after a long day of exploring. Breakfast is also provided, which was a nice and convenient touch to start the day. The location is excellent, just short drive from Banff, making it a perfect base for exploring the area without the higher prices of staying directly in town. Quiet, neat, and very comfortable. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the Rockies!

I stayed here for 2 months while attending trade school at Olds College. The motel room was safe and clean, with a lovely breakfast every morning and an easy walk to school. John and his family/staff were always very friendly and accommodating. The rate was reasonable and my needs were more than met. Thank you for your kindness and for taking such good care of me :)

Read all the reviews, the majority are very good and appropriate given my two night stays experience. This two story walk up with all outside doors is not a new place. It's obviously been here a long time. Don't expect chain hotel anything here because you won't get it. The owner John is great as is his staff. Everyone is extremely friendly and very accommodating. For $15 a load they will even do your laundry which I had them do! The property is very clean and well maintained. Again not fancy but obviously they care about appearances. You get a real key on an old fashioned plastic key tag. You can drive right up to your door and unload. The rooms are large and very very clean. Old furniture but who cares right? A nice size fridge/freezer, microwave and coffee maker. The bed was fantastic! As comfortable or better than most hotels. The bedding was soft, very clean and fresh and cozy! The pillows were great too! I had an amazing sleep! The property is very quiet. I literally heard nothing EXCEPT the guy upstairs get in way too late and get up way too early. Beyond that I literally heard nothing my entire stay! They allow dogs which for me is fantastic. And since this property sits on the edge of a nice neighborhood walking the dogs was a pleasure and very safe. For the price it's definitely a budget hotel. Can't beat the rate!! Go in expecting a clean room. Comfortable bed. Comfortable linens,sheets, blankets. Expect a great night's sleep on a cozy bed. DON'T expect fancy. DON'T expect new anything. It's a budget motel not the Hilton. I completely enjoyed my stay with my two dogs. Zero complaints. Thank you John and staff! The
